Create mythical drinks.

At level 10 of the Mixology skill, your Sims can create a drink called the Troubling Mix. This drink gives you a huge skill boost, allowing your Sims to gain skills faster than any other method. You pay 200 $ for the guide that contains this recipe and then you can use it to create the Sims of your dreams.

Let them eat cake

Creating male Sims can be difficult. If you are trying to create the "perfect man", try creating him as a woman first. Create a female with slightly masculine features, then revert the sim back to a male... Starting with a female sim will make the facial features and shape less crude and more attractive.

Say "Cheese"!

If you want to build relationships but don't have the time or energy to deal with the erratic effects of the game, we've got you covered.
Get a camera and take pictures with your future friend. Taking pictures with someone will strengthen your relationship and provide you with nice pictures to frame and hang in your home.

Stop starving your Sims.

If you're on the go and find food you want to take home, you may find that the game won't let you put it in your inventory. Solve this problem by packing it in a meal bag instead. This meal will appear in your inventory as a brown paper bag that you can then store in the fridge to eat later. Did someone say free food? Yes, of course they did!

Be wild!

Go to the spa to start a family.

The Interior Decorator pack comes with amazing furniture. This pack also comes with an adorable play tent for toddlers and children. What you may not know is that this tent inspires creativity and impacts the emotions of toddlers/children. When the children/toddlers play in the tent, an older Sims can play outside as a "monster" and scare the little ones. When this is done, it adds a moodlet of fear or anger to the children and brings some fun realism to the game. Sims can also sleep in this tent, which is super convenient if you run out of beds.

Quench that thirst.

The Coolala lamp protects your children from the monster under the bed and allows your Sims to get a good night's sleep. While these items are handy, your children can befriend the monster under the bed by talking to it. This means they won't wake you up in fear, but they may be tired for school tomorrow.

A strange side of Strangerville.

Strangerville came with a beautiful world, but the game itself was a bit lackluster for many players. That said, you don't have to completely forget about this pack once you've played the story and defeated the mother plant. In fact, if the goal of the story is to defeat the mother plant and make it inoperable, you can revive it and even become friends with it! You can befriend the mother plant by trying to communicate with it repeatedly. Once the bond is established, you can ask the plant for gifts and other things that can be very useful in your daily life.

Note: To communicate with the mother plant, you can eat a strange fruit that will make your Sim possessed or use the following cheats to activate or deactivate possession: traits.equip_trait Strangerville_Infected / traits.remove_trait Strangerville_Infected

Once possessed, you communicate with the mother plant telepathically and can request gifts daily. The Mother Plant will provide you with things like career gains, simoleons, energy, and a life extension. Your Sims can visit the mother plant once a day to request gifts, which can be quite lucrative.

Avoiding tragedy!

Once purchased, your masks can be stored in the fridge to stay fresh. It is strongly recommended that you keep them cool before using them so that their effects remain beneficial. You can tell if the mask is fresh by hovering over it in your inventory.

You can then apply the mask directly to your face.

If the effects of the masks are positive, they can also bring burns and irritations on the Sims' skin if you use too many masks in a row or if you keep it too long. Red patches will then appear.

Yoga classes

When you visit a spa, you may receive a notification that a yoga class is about to start in the next half hour. To participate, click on the teacher before the class starts. You will not be able to join the class otherwise.

Once the group is joined, your Sim will chain the postures and increase his Well-Being skill at the same time.

By reaching level 2 of the Wellness skill, you will unlock the ability to teach yoga classes. Several types of sessions can be launched, public or private classes already and several themes:

• Brain stimulation
• Suitable for families
• Energy channelling
• Concentration

Each course will earn you 110 simflouzs per participant.

Meditation courses

In the same way as yoga classes, your Sim has the possibility to lead guided meditations. These sessions work in a similar way, you can launch a public or private session where you choose your guests.

Here you will earn 80 simflouzs per participant.

The purpose of this trait is to complicate your daily life with a Sim that is quite difficult to deal with and will change his emotions for anything and everything. Your Sim goes outside, he will complain about the sun. He sits too long, he will complain about his backside hurting, etc...

Sometimes, even if you don't do anything, your sim will say he is having the worst day of his life...

The only way to keep him happy is to send him to the spa for some treatments. You might as well say that having one of the Wellness aspirations is recommended since it allows you to access the spa free of charge thanks to the spa membership" feature. A few new furniture items, starting with new massage chairs and tables. Available in a dozen colors.

A new category has been introduced called "Wellness". By using one of the aspirations inside, your Sims will unlock a "Spa Membership" trait that makes all activities on this type of land free.

Three aspirations are included in this category: "Self-Care Specialist", "Inner Peace" and "Zen Guru". These three aspirations consist of only one level to reach the maximum.

We can note that we have 5 cuts for women (including Elsa's cut from the Snow Queen tested by Caroline) and 3 for men (including a really ugly one with a baldness like a monk) and quite a lot of clothes in the theme of sport and relaxation (swimsuits and sportswear). We present you some sport outfits knowing that there are also some swimsuits: 1 full body and two bikinis. There are a lot of new outfits, cuts and which are in addition, very aesthetic.

Hairstyles

No new hairstyles were added with the September 2021 update.

Updates from Relaxation at the Spa

Everyone deserves more time to recharge and more ways to do it! In this update, we have added the following:

Three new aspirations and a new character trait

The road to wellness is long, but it's worth it! Sims can now choose from three aspirations to become Zen:

• Self Care Specialist - For Sims who want to earn money with their passion for fitness and wellness. 
• Inner Peace - For Sims who want to achieve ultimate harmony and learn to manage their negative emotions.
• Zen Guru - For Sims who want to share the power of wellness with the world... the whole world, literally. They also seek to train their successor to pass on their knowledge.

In addition to these new aspirations, we've added a new trait for those Sims who require a little extra effort to keep their needs... properly aligned. The Demanding trait allows your Sims to perform mindful tasks that can improve their well-being. No problem is trivial, no need is excessive.

You can find these new aspirations and the new character trait in Create a Sim. And don't forget about the spa membership included with these aspirations: it's a great deal!

 

Manicures and pedicures

Some people like to get massages to decompress; it's a great choice (I think I could use a massage myself), but my favorite thing is manicures and pedicures! And I'll tell you why! There's something incredibly relaxing about choosing a design, color, and shape, and then having someone embellish (yes that's a real word... for me) your nails in the most meticulous way possible. Your Sims can now benefit from these nail enhancements or give them to other Sims for free. You can choose a model, a shape, and voilà! Your Sims' nails will look fabulous and your Sims will feel fabulous!

And if you don't want to have your nails done by a professional (tight budget, I totally understand), Sims also have access to the same options in Create a Sim. You can apply these options instantly to your Sims' nails! Instant nails, so to speak! You can choose from a wide variety of swatches with color combinations, patterns or just one solid color for each nail on your hands. You can also select various solid colors for your toenails. You can find them in the Accessories category of Create a Sim, where you will see a Hand Nails and Toenails category with the different options.

About yoga and meditation

Yoga classes can now take place outside of spas and gyms! You can hire a yoga teacher or conduct your own class from the yoga teacher mat. Speaking of teaching, Sims can also conduct guided meditation sessions from meditation stools. Oh, and I don't want to forget to mention that kids can practice and teach yoga and meditation too! 

New items, face masks... Wow!

As part of this update, we've also added a few new items and color swatches in Construction mode; they include a luxurious massage table and massage chair that can also be used for manicures and pedicures for a total relaxation experience. There is also a portable massage table and massage chair so your Sims can give massages, manicures and pedicures anywhere to earn some simflouz.

In addition to these items, we've added to your Sims' self-care routine the ability to purchase and apply face masks. They are available in a wide variety of styles providing different benefits; for easier access, we recommend that you have the Mini-dispenser Tiédeur du Docteur Douceur. This miniature version of the original fridge can not only store your favorite drinks in a compact space, but your Sims can also use it to buy face masks. By the way, don't forget to try the new SuperCucumber drink and the delicious Cucumber Slices snack! They are also available in this update.

Updates to the base game

Pour ceux qui ne possèdent pas Détente au Spa, nous voulions aussi vous gâter. Pour les joueurs du jeu de base, nous avons ajouté des options d’ongles pour les mains et les pieds dans Créer un Sim. Comme dit précédemment, il y aura des options dans la catégorie Ongles de mains et ongles de pieds de Créer un Sim ; il y aura une grande variété d’ongles unis et d’ongles avec plusieurs couleurs disponibles pour le jeu de base.

 

Bug fixes

Console

• We have fixed an issue where some controls were not working properly when players were in the Game Options menus. They should now work properly.

The Sims 4

• New parties should no longer experience the automatic generation of empty homes, and the increased backup size and slower performance that this generation caused. The team continues to investigate how to safely fix existing backups that have this problem.
• We fixed an issue where the combination of chairs from custom content and certain objects was creating routing problems for Sims.
• Sometimes, in some saves, Sims would lose their names when going to certain terrains; notably the Gothik terrain, but this could happen anywhere. If a Sim doesn't have a name... does it exist? I can guarantee you that the Gothiks were not involved, but this problem should not occur anymore.
• Have you ever needed to order food or drinks, but didn't feel like doing it? So have I! However, the problem of Sims and NPCs not being able to order food and drink on their own has been resolved. Let the ordering begin!
• Have you noticed your Sims doing fitness or dance activities when they don't like it? Weird, isn't it? That shouldn't happen anymore as long as they continue to dislike it, of course. Note: Unfortunately (for the victims), Sims can still choose music they don't like on a stereo to torment other Sims (and players) nearby.
• We solved the following problem: in the Construction mode, some color samples were missing from the Mega Window (double budget large luxury light)which showed them as empty.
• Let's talk about unibrows! Are they trendy? Are they cheesy? No matter - all eyebrows are welcome! We've fixed an issue where the thicker unibrow was not available for Sims with female bones, and the thinner unibrow was not available for Sims with male bones. All unibrows are now available for both frames!
• Have you ever noticed an invisible place under the table All kinds of things ? We do, and although I think if it's called "All kinds of things", it could have all kinds of things anywhere... well I guess? That was not acceptable and so we corrected that.

Get to Work

• Hairstyling yfHair_EP01TwistLow has been correctly identified in the hairstyle category Chignon. Is it still a chignon if the bun is low and not on top of the head? This is the kind of question I sometimes ask myself.

Ecology

• If you noticed that the community voting board was missing from certain pack locations in Construction Mode, fear not. It has been found and should be back safe and sound in Construction Mode.

Interior design

• Have you ever had a decoration so beautiful that you couldn't sleep because you had to look at it? While we want your Sims to love their decor and style, we thought it was a bit excessive that they no longer sleep and just admire their interior. This should not happen anymore.

To begin, I suggested that we practice a little yoga. There are a total of 12 postures that you can do depending on your skill level. Here is for example the half moon posture that Lady is doing and the boat posture by Caroline. I personally opted for the side plank.

Afterwards, we did some meditation on the terrace. The view on Magnolia Promenade was superb.
Meditation is a practice not to be neglected, it relaxes the whole body and offers you an unforgettable moment.

And as they say, after the effort, the comfort! So I proposed a little massage to the redheads. They accepted with great pleasure! Lady succumbed to the charm of the Swedish massage, while Caroline preferred an aromatherapy with lavender! I offer you a list of each type of massage available.
After the massage, our admins were conquered!

We then resumed the development of the skill all day! And after a while, Caroline manages to levitate (from level 5), certainly with a little difficulty at the beginning, but with a little self-control, we get there! AND LOOK! Lady can teleport !!!!!! You have to be level 7 to develop this ability, which is just awesome! You just have to click somewhere and choose: "teleport". No need for a meditation chair! Lady teleported to the edge of the city.

Well, after a hard day of training, we are very very hungry! It is thus the hour of the meal. The pack adds 2 new dishes. The cake of coconut/carob without sugar, available at the level 2 of wellbeing and 1 in kitchen and the salad superfoods at the level 7 of wellbeing and 1 in kitchen. We enjoyed this little meal!

And to digest, we take up yoga again! As we have developed our skills, here are some more advanced postures!

And before going to bed, another little massage! Caroline preferred a hand massage and Lady, a foot massage (Lady, your feet smell a bit like camembert... burk! I have a scoop, LADY PISSES FROM THE FEET)! Caroline, your hands are so soft! (no, I'm not flirting!).

Now, let's discover the new social interactions! As you develop your skill, you will have the opportunity to speak Zen to your contacts in different ways!

Le pack de jeu*Les Sims 4 Détente au Spa sort le 14 juillet et nous avons vraiment hâte que vous puissiez le découvrir ! La semaine dernière,nous vous avons parlé du contenu de ce pack de jeu  : le nouveau type de lieu « Spa », une série de fantastiques objets inédits et la nouvelle compétence Bien-être. Aujourd’hui, nous allons approfondir un peu plus les expériences et le gameplay qui vous attendent en téléchargeant ce pack.

Il y a trois nouveaux spas créés par Maxis ainsi qu’une nouvelle salle de sport. Après avoir téléchargé Les Sims 4 Détente au spa, vous remarquerez quatre nouveaux bâtiments sur votre page Ma bibliothèque dans la Galerie. Il y a trois spas que vous pouvez immédiatement placer sur n’importe quel terrain 20×30. Le studio de yoga Aham Ashram offre des cours de yoga d’excellente qualité ; Massages Centre du centre emploie des masseurs et réflexologues hautement qualifiés pour vous faire oublier tous vos soucis ; et le spa Équilibre parfait a tout ce qu’il vous faut pour améliorer votre bien-être, du sauna à la méditation ! Il y a également une salle de sport qui inclut certains des nouveaux objets inclus dans ce pack de jeu.

Vous pouvez créer votre propre spa. Bien sûr, si vous êtes d’humeur créative et que vous voulez créer votre propre spa, vous pouvez le faire. Lorsque vous avez terminé, vous pouvez le partager dans la Gallery et regarder les joueurs du monde entier télécharger et commenter votre établissement de détente.

La compétence Bien-être permet à votre Sim de faire toutes sortes de choses inédites. Pratiquer le yoga, faire des massages et méditer améliore la compétence Bien-être de votre Sim. Plus sa compétence Bien-être sera élevée, mieux il réussira à faire des postures de yoga et de fantastiques massages spécifiques. Il pourra même préparer de nouvelles recettes ayant des bienfaits spéciaux !

Les maîtres de la méditation gagnent des interactions surnaturelles. Avez-vous déjà remarqué que les gens qui méditent semblent un peu plus… calmes ? Et que ce calme est presque… surnaturel ? Les Sims qui améliorent suffisamment leur bien-être peuvent léviter et même se téléporter. Cela vaut la peine d’être zen !

Vos Sims peuvent faire crac-crac (ou mourir !) dans le sauna. Les saunas ne sont pas qu’un lieu de détente. Lorsque deux Sims amoureux sont seuls dans cette pièce, une interaction spéciale disponible uniquement dans le sauna apparaît. Mais attention, le sauna n’est pas qu’un lieu de divertissement : votre Sim peut mourir s’il passe trop de temps dans le sauna et obtient une « Suée superflue ».

Il y a un nouveau bain de boue et plusieurs mélanges pour le bain disponibles. Si votre Sim recherche une forme de relaxation plus sécurisée, le bain de boue du pack de jeu Les Sims 4 Détente au Spa est parfait. Prendre un bain de boue peut procurer à votre Sim l’état d’esprit Confiant, tandis que les autres mélanges pour le bain auront des résultats différents : le Jardin de rose le mettra d’humeur enjôleuse, et le Peau de bébé le rendra heureux. Les autres mélanges peuvent provoquer des états d’esprit négatifs comme Triste ou En colère.

Presque tous les objets peuvent être utilisés en dehors du spa. Vous n’avez pas envie d’envoyer votre Sim dans un spa ? Ne vous inquiétez pas : presque toutes les activités du spa peuvent aussi être pratiquées chez votre Sim. Il peut installer un sauna au sous-sol ou un tabouret de méditation dans son salon. De plus, les bains de boue et mélanges pour le bain sont disponibles dans presque tous les types de baignoire !

Les Sims 4 Détente au Spa sort dans le monde entier le 14 juillet ! Nous sommes vraiment impatients de voir comment vos Sims vont profiter de leurs moments de détente dans les nouveaux spas !

• Spa est un nouveau type de terrain. Un spa est déjà construit pour placer dans les différents mondes. Un gymnase a également été ajouté.
• Des tapis de yoga seront disponibles pour augmenter la compétence associée
• Sur un terrain communautaire, les chaises de massages seront gérés par un PNJ. A la maison, les sims pourront se faire des massages entre eux.
• Au niveau des tenues, le pack vient avec des peignoirs pour aller au spa (disponibles pour enfants et adultes)
• Le sauna et le bain de boue peut être utilisés par les enfants et adultes. Les massages et le yoga nécessitent d’être au minimum adolescents
• Il est fort probable que la téléportation soit de retour avec la méditation
• Les aquariums font leur retour (il n’est cependant pas possible de les nourrir..)

Il a aussi été annoncé qu’une prochaine mise à jour qui devrait sortir autour du 14 Juillet permettra d’ajouter une bibliothèque de terrain comme dans Les Sims 2 et 3.

Un moment de détente au spa

Après s’être au mis au travail en avril, nos Sims avaient bien besoin de se détendre, et quoi de mieux pour cela qu’un luxueux spa ? Le pack de jeu* Les Sims 4 Détente au spa sort donc ce mois-ci !

Comme vous vous en doutez, Les Sims 4 Détente au spa inclut un nouveau type d’endroit : le spa. Lorsque vous obtiendrez le pack, trois nouveaux spas conçus par Maxis ainsi qu’une nouvelle salle de sport seront ajoutés à votre bibliothèque ; vous pourrez les placer là où vous le souhaiterez. Les spas sont disponibles dans des tailles et des formes variées afin que vous trouviez celui qui correspond le mieux à votre personnalité (bien sûr, vous pouvez également créer le vôtre).

Une fois au spa, les Sims peuvent passer du temps (et faire crac-crac !) dans un sauna ou profiter d’un massage relaxant. Le spa comprend plusieurs nouveaux objets interactifs amusants pour vos Sims, du fauteuil de massage au bain de boue, dont nous vous parlerons davantage bientôt. Mais ce n’est pas tout !

Vos Sims peuvent également développer la compétence Bien-être en faisant des massages et en pratiquant le yoga et la méditation. Plus ils participent à ces activités et plus ils s’améliorent. Une compétence Bien-être élevée donne accès à de nouvelles postures de yoga, à la possibilité de faire des massages de qualité supérieure et à une surprise spéciale associée à la méditation (que nous ne gâcherons pas en vous la révélant) !

Le jeu sortira dans le mois de Juillet et est donc nommé Détente au Spa. Il s’agit d’un pack de jeu et permettra donc de créer un nouveau type de lieu : les spas. Massages, saunas, vous pourrez vous détendre dans ce nouvel endroit en profitant du nouveau contenu mis à votre disposition comme les chaises de massages et les bains de boue. Si vous êtes stressés, essayez-vous au yoga en prenant des cours ou apprenez à méditer. La compétence yoga vous permettra au fur et à mesure de votre progression de réaliser des massages plus efficaces ou de nouvelles positions lors de vos méditations.
