This week, the Grande Interview meets our english friends. You may know her, she is one of the most famous simmer on Youtube. She also handle, with other english webmasters, the Simmers Meetup, a way for simmers to meet in UK as we’ve done here on Amaz’sims. Let me introduce you RachyBop !
– The Sims are 16 years old, when did you start playing it ? What is your favourite Sims game?I started playing in the early days of The Sims. My friend gave me The Sims 1 to try and I’ve been hooked ever since! I don’t really have a favourite, I love them all! (except cool kitchen stuff, what the heck was that about!?).
– You created the Simmers Syndicate, a place for Simmers who make their own videos. How did you have this idea? How many members do you have today?
There’s heaps of networks out there for gamers but none specifically for Simmers so I wanted to create something that would help Simmers and ONLY Simmers. We currently have about 40 members and it’s growing everyday. We’re enjoying the early stages of growing the network and learning what people want from it. We have an amazing group of video creators who have joined Simmers Syndicate so far.

– How are you playing to The Sims ? Do you like to build some houses, create Sims, stories,…?
I’m more of a storyteller than a builder but I do like to try out everything depending on how I’m feeling. I especially love the humour of the game.

– You nearly have 16 000 followers on your channel. do you have a specific type of video about the Sims you enjoy to do or you are trying some new things each time (including the video to learn simlish)?
I love to try new things and create unique videos (like my Sims face swap challenge!) but I especially love making Sims parody songs and simlish song versions. They give me an excuse to be silly and sing :)

– I was looking for a question about your relation with the french community and I found the “French Candy Taste Test”. Do you want us to send you some macaroon? Our budget is a bit limited but…well. :p

Thanks RachyBop for your answers. As you may ask, of course we bought macaroon but it looks like an hungry squirrel ate all these sweets. While we are looking for the culprit, you can watch her videos on YouTube.
