AllCheats
This mod reactivates all Sims 4 cheat codes found in the game code, including debug and cheats that the gurus have removed, such as resetsim, sims.remove_all_buffs and sims.add_buff.
It also redirects all outputs to the cheat console, which helps to understand why a cheat is not working or what options are available.
You have 4 classifications of cheat codes for The Sims 4 :
- Life
- Cheat
- Automation
- Debugging
Before Seasons, Cheats and Automation were considered identical, and if you activated testingcheats, both types of cheats were activated. Automation cheats were not intended for the public and many of them are the ones I published. Personally, I think the number of cheats would have been very low if the automation codes hadn't been activated by accident.
Since Seasons, these automation cheats are now blocked, unless the game is really in automation mode (which developers have access to for testing).
I don't think it's accidental, because after the Dogs and Cats patch, the reason the "toggle_selectable_pets" cheat wasn't working was because they'd classified it as a new "ReallyAutomation" type. This prevented it from being activated with the rest of the cheats/automation.
Since Seasons, the "ReallyAutomation" type has disappeared, and the toggle_selectable_pets cheat code has been changed to Automation. This implies that they knew that Automation type cheats would now be blocked. The change amounts to one line of code and is so simple that I don't see how it could be a "bug".
I really hope the Gurus reconsider and re-enable all the automation cheats. They are essential for most styles of play in simulators.

The patch
It turns out that my AllCheats mod fixes all "broken" cheat codes (automation-type cheats). In fact, my mod modifies all cheats to treat them as "Live" cheats, which are still usable.
