Prenatal parties, family reunions and sleepovers

Not necessarily the best-known novelty in the new Sims 4 Growing Together pack but there are three new social events in play: baby showers, family reunions and sleepovers!

Prenatal celebrations

Well, I have to say I wouldn't quite get used to this prenatal party translation, but they've been added to celebrate the arrival of the new baby! All adults can trigger it in the social events menu! Whether your Sim is pregnant or not, the event is designed to work whether your Sim gives birth or adopts a child.

Once the event is triggered, you'll have several interactions that unlock. You can congratulate the parent-to-be, buy or give a gift, make name suggestions or just gawk at the birth-to-be!

If you successfully complete the various objectives. Your Sim will receive a new bassinet!

Family reunions

This event is vague enough to suit any kind of story you want to tell in the game. You can invite all the members of your family, more or less close, and even friends. To make the event a success, you'll have a number of friendly interactions to make, including taking photos, having fun and eating together.

With the Gold level, you'll unlock photo frames for your family photos!

Sleepovers

This is the event that brings the most gameplay to the table, as sleepovers make their return to the game after an appearance in The Sims 3 Generations, if I remember correctly. Sleepovers are triggered by teenagers, and you can invite up to 8 other Sims. The aim here is for your Sims to tell stories to their guests, eat a few treats and stay up late.

Two awards this time, the first at Silver level with a sleeping bag for toddlers, and at Gold level, the same bag will be available for other age groups.
