The Sims 4 Field Challenges

As part of the new features that came with the last update of The Sims 4, some terrain features have been transformed into terrain challenges.

Field challenges are elements that add a little spice to your game, to break up the daily grind. They are selectable from the Buy Mode, in the same place as the features.

You can select as many challenges as you like from the following list:

• Volcanic activity (Paradisiac Islands) : This land is near an active volcano! Beware of earthquakes, steam emissions and occasional lava bombs.
• Swarming critters: Horrible pests seem to be installed here. Beware: you never see them coming when they attack!
• Landfill (Ecology) : This land is a real dump! Trash is piling up on it. Available only on certain community sites
• Disgusting (City Life): From clogged pipes to grimy countertops, this place seems to get dirty really fast.
• Scary (City Living): For some inexplicable reason, this land attracts wandering ghosts!
• Gremlins (City Living): Here, objects often break. It seems that tiny goblins come out at night to destroy things...
• Off-grid : This land is not connected to the water and electricity grid, and most things that use water or electricity will not work as intended. Natural living has its advantages: no water and electricity bills for example!
• Cursed (City Living): A lot of things seem to go wrong here.
• Wild foxes (Country life) : Wild foxes will appear on this land and harm your garden, poultry and rabbits.
• Reduce and recycle (Ecology) : This land generates compostable and recyclable waste, and outdoor trash cans are no longer bottomless. Actively managing the amount of waste is a must!
• Repugnant (City Living): Sims may feel nauseous when eating, drinking or using the bathroom.
• Earthquakes (City Living): Sometimes there's a little shake up here.
• Simple Life (Country Living): This field requires ingredients to prepare all the recipes. Cooking with ingredients makes the food taste better!

Note that you are informed about the current challenges on the land where you are going to move with a small trophy icon.
