It's a bit like the screen we like to see disappear, the one that launches as soon as your Sim changes terrain, as soon as you start the game or want to change your character's socks... The loading screen of The Sims 4 is a player's bête noire, especially those with a relatively old computer who have to wait several minutes in front of it (a thought for those who remember the loading of games in The Sims 3, what a nightmare).
In short, since the game's release, the loaders have evolved along with the graphic charter of the Sims brand. From very light, to darker, to much darker, there's something for everyone!
Personally, I'm not a big fan of the last one. This dark blue has the merit of not tiring the eyes, but even so, it's a bit overpowering. That's where talented modders come in! You can find dozens of customized loading screens online. Here's a small selection!
Let's start with the local girl, Linette! Our former designer has taken revenge for no longer designing headers for the Gazette by creating a whole host of new loading screens. Whether you're a fan of the deep sea or fields full of poppies, you're bound to find something to your liking on her Tumblr (it rhymes, too)!

Next, my personal favorite. I dream of seeing all the stars at night without light pollution. Thanks to Lotharihoe, I can see them directly in my game! To be complete, these are images of the sky at different times of day that have been transformed into backgrounds. You can start with a sunrise or sunset, a beautiful blue sky or a starry night.
If you prefer drawings, Cassie1900 has released a number of particularly nice and harmonious backgrounds on The Sims Ressource - I think that's the right word for it.

And finally, today's original. If you like Japanese culture, green grass and hairy creatures, you'll love this screen inspired by Mon Voisin Totoro ! Why not, after all?

If you haven't found what you're looking for here, you'll find dozens more in our CC catalog !
