Sims 2 Extensions

The Sims 2 add-on discs add new gameplay elements to the game. These eight expansions unlock new careers, vacation destinations and creatures. All of this, of course, accompanied by new items and outfits.

The Sims 2 University

Academy is the first expansion for this second opus. It allows young adult Sims, a new age group in the game, to attend university. Players can choose from a variety of academic majors, including arts, science, politics and more. While at university, Sims can live in dorms, attend classes, join fraternities and get involved in activities with other Sims.

The Sims 2 Nightlife

This expansion focuses on your Sims' nightlife, offering them new experiences and activities after the sun goes down. Players can send their Sims to new nightlife districts, such as downtown, where they can explore nightclubs, bars, restaurants, and other entertainment venues.

The Sims 2 Open For Business

This expansion focuses on commerce and business, offering players the chance to create and run their own businesses. Sims can become entrepreneurs by opening stores, restaurants or service businesses. Players have direct control over business operations, including managing employees, setting product prices and decorating retail outlets.

The Sims 2 Pets

This additional disc lets players add pets to their Sims' lives. Players can create and personalize dogs and cats, choosing their personality traits, defining their appearance, and managing their needs. Pets become true members of the Sims family, offering special interactions and memorable moments. They cannot, however, be controlled like other characters.

The Sims 2 Seasons

This new expansion introduces a system of seasons to the world of The Sims. Players can now experience seasonal changes with the arrival of summer, autumn, winter and spring. Each season brings its own specific activities, seasonal festivals and new interactions. There's also a focus on all gardening activities with the gardening club and the new creature, the vegemite.

The Sims 2 Bon Voyage

With Bon Voyage, your Sims can go on vacation to a variety of destinations. You can choose from three types of destination: the exotic beaches of Twikkii Island, the mountains of Takemizu Village, and the mystical cultures of the Three Lakes. Each destination offers its own unique set of activities, interactions and encounters.

The Sims 2 Freetime

This expansion is all about hobbies. Your Sims can practice a whole host of new activities, from pottery to car restoration. Developing their hobbies will allow them to unlock several new interactions, meet other club members and even gain access to a secret field where they can work on their new favorite activities.

The Sims 2 Apartment Life

This latest expansion focuses on apartment living, allowing players to create and manage apartment buildings for their Sims. Sims can now live in shared apartments, with neighbors, janitors and specific community interactions.
