How to remove the prism and thought bubbles from The Sims 4?

Open the cheat console
Press the Ctrl Shift and C keys.
Enter the cheat code
Type "headlineeffects off", a confirmation message will appear.
And it's already over! Replace off with on to put the prism back.
Hide the prism while keeping the bubbles
You can also choose to hide the prism by tweaking the game code a bit to keep displaying some information on the screen like the level of relationships or the thought bubbles that are hidden with the previous method as Linette explains in this video.
