Aujourd’hui dans votre rubrique, mon simself va faire un petit tour à San Myshuno pour goûter aux animations proposées dans les quartiers de la ville animée. C’est parti !

The first one? The Geek Convention, the landmark of all gamers and programmers! Located in the fashion district, it takes place every Tuesday from 10 am to 6 pm. And you don't need to know anything about computers and consoles to participate! Tylda doesn't know anything about computers and consoles but she's going to have a lot of fun. Let's see it together.

Who says Geek says... GAME! Tylda has fun with the many video games available. Did I tell you? During the festival, many skills are improved much faster.
Tylda, who had never touched the game console, now has a small level in the skill. A small level, but a level nonetheless! Let's check out the other things to do.
In a booth, you can buy the festival T-shirt! And frankly I think it's an interesting and more realistic addition. So it's our competition Tylda who proudly wears her new garment, who floats a bit in her 100 D that I graciously gave her during her creation, and who will obviously be able to show off to her friends. She's got it all figured out, Tylda.
This is the Pirathon. As you can see from this not very discreet word game, it's a hacking contest... of programming. And you don't even have to know anything about this skill to participate! Well, after that, if you want to win the first prize (which is a wonderful computer), it is sure that you have to have a better level than the others. But it's still fun! Tylda who doesn't know anything about computers finished 3rd out of... 3. But as the third is also rewarded, she got 250 simflouz !
You know, when you want to go to space, you first have to spend long, long weeks building your own rocket. But thanks to this ready-made rocket, you don't need to know anything about rocketry! So Tylda embarks on a little trip into space. Please be careful with the actions and choices you make when you get there. It would not be necessary that what was at first an animation becomes fatal to your sims.
Unfortunately, the day passed too quickly. Tylda decided not to show us too much, first because she didn't have time to do everything, but mostly because it's up to you to discover the other activities of the festival. The festival of love
Today is a big day for Tylda: from 5 pm to 1 am, it is the festival of love. Located in the fashion district, it is surely the festivity that the young redhead waited the most. And that falls very well! We will thus accompany it in this romantic universe.
She dressed up! (well, okay, I dressed up) The location is well chosen and the colors are great with the cherry trees in bloom. There is already a crowd of people - teens, adults and even old people - waiting at the entrance. I must admit that my first impression when I discovered the presentation of this festival was that it was a bit empty. Anyway, let's go !
As for the Geek Convention, you can find a souvenir store. You can choose between the festival's T-shirt, but also a lot of collectibles! Tylda bought a lot of them, and I will present you all of them at the end of the article. The trinkets bought, our adventurer of the extreme goes to the fountain of love... Where everyone rushes to drink the excellent Sakura tea which gives an enchanting aura. And it's not a refusal for my sims, always embarrassed after having peed on herself in public on the basketball court!
Here is the love guru... Or rather THE love guru! She hangs out by the fountains looking very nice. Tylda was obviously anxious to receive advice from this professional. And I must admit that, considering her answers, my simself was very badly off in this race for love. I still laughed a lot when I imagined my poor simsette with the same love chances as her creator!
At the Love Festival, you can also garden pretty plants, but that's not Tylda's Dada (get the joke?). I'll give you a chance to find out for yourself when you go where Tylda went! On the other hand, there are easels, and lots of artists come to take advantage of their romantic aura to give emotion to their works. And since the young redhead knows a thing or two about painting, it's time to show off her talents!
Who is this handsome young man who knows how to use his brush almost as well as my simsette? He's making eyes at Tylda, anyway, and why not take a chance and go talk to him about art? Art? Tell dirty jokes, rather! The two sims seem interested in each other and I want to go back to the love guru to show him his mistake: happiness is just around the corner!
You're not dreaming: with the love festival, you can come and get married with your soulmate... Or do like Tylda: meet your soulmate, flirt with your soulmate and get married "on a whim" with your soulmate! The funny thing is that in all my games with my sims, every marriage proposal is a tearful rake. And here? The handsome young man accepts!
I also take this opportunity to show you the different romantic interactions due to the festival. I know a reader who will have a great time using the "naughty dream" on her sims... I won't say any names.
Beautiful! Even though it's already midnight and everyone has already left, I think this scene is very romantic and the place is a perfect location for a wedding. Even though as I write this I still can't believe it, I'm glad that little Tylda found her perfect match. Just before going back to her apartment with her new husband, she took the opportunity to buy the festival T-shirt that she will keep as a souvenir of this crazy night.
The flea market
The day after her wedding, it's back for an animation. Since last night, she has some nausea and going out would certainly be good for her: Seiji, the lucky one of last night who squats in the apartment, is of the same opinion. Fortunately, it's Sunday, 10 o'clock, and it's time to present you the flea market: not quite a festival, but something I found very nice!
C’est le matin, le soleil brille et il y a foule dans ce joyeux marché. Plusieurs stands de nourritures sont installés et je n’ai jamais vu autant de monde dans un même endroit en.. combien déjà ? Plus de 5000 heures de jeu ? (Merci Origin pour cette source fiable.) Ça respire la joie de vivre et rien que pour ça, j’adore déjà. En revanche, Tylda est déterminée : sa mission, c’est de vendre les jolies peintures qu’elle créait en attendant les festivals. Comptons donc sur Seiji pour nous faire découvrir les autres choses à faire.
You can exhibit your works for free during this morning: and of course sell them. Start a flea market or raise the prices, you are the manager. We won't go into the details of this other action, but you can also sell your collectibles on a small display table.
On large carpets, all kinds of furniture are for sale. Seiji hasn't had the opportunity to tell his wife yet, but he loves to buy and keep souvenirs. So he will buy... almost all the objects he will meet. Sofas, chairs, lamps... I'll give you a chance to see the installation of all this furniture in Tylda's tiny apartment a little later in the article. In the meantime, he almost feels like a thief. At the previous festival, Tylda bought lots of trinkets as souvenirs. Among them, there were snow globes, the new collection of Vie Citadine! While rummaging through some boxes here and there, Seiji discovered some new ones. It's very funny to find such nice things in other people's garbage!
On her side, my little simself first struggled to sell her works. And almost everything was bought by... a child! He obviously had a lot of pocket money, as the whole thing must have cost about 3000 simflouzs. Tylda is overjoyed: but she still doesn't know that all the money coming into the household account was spent on her husband's purchases so early. Will we see the first couple fight?!
Besides, Seiji realizes as the day goes on that he spends - maybe - a little too much. But, charismatic as anything, he will bargain with the saleswoman who will accept that he buys her trinkets... at 25% less! It's a pity that our expert didn't buy anything from the lady: he wasn't going to buy any frogs?! ... in fact he did, they can always be used...
The day ended so quickly! Anyway, I'm proud of my finds and my tiny collection. Let's get back to the apartment and show you all this before we head out again in search of a new festival. Are you following me?
Here's all the new furniture against the old! The style is totally incoherent and I love it. It's detuned, disorganized, perfectly to my taste! If you too are changing the look of your apartments after the flea market, I strongly advise you to keep your old stuff to sell the following week!

The beautiful Yousimseuse has had her face ravaged for some time now due to a fire in her house. Take this advice and save your fireworks for your garden!
Before continuing, I have a little surprise for you (and for Seiji!): Tylda is pregnant! We hope there won't be too much alcohol in the next festival. And yeah, right now, my simself is not dragging things out; and to think that yesterday she was single... Well, let's move on.
The Frasque and Humor Festival
Welcome to the paradise of jokers and pranksters! I confess, after the love festival, this is what I was looking forward to the most. It's Monday, it's 5pm, and night is about to fall: yet the place is filled with beautiful yellow and purple colors. The first thing to do? Choose your team! Indeed, this festival has a particularity: it is a competition. The participants have to choose their camps: the jokers or the pranksters. During the whole evening, they will compete with each other with bad puns and voodoo dolls. Tylda and Seiji are ready to try.
Tylda chooses the side of the pranksters, because, whether it is me or my simself, zero knowledge in the field of mischief. Her husband, on the other hand, decides to take the side of the pranksters. Well, decides... It's mostly that I want to show you both sides of the festival!
As usual, a souvenir shop. Seiji hurries to buy the whole stock - without haggling this time - to complete his collections and also buys a T-shirt size XL for his wife who took 3 sizes with her pregnancy. If it's not cute, that... and a little bit funny, already.
Jokers can grab the microphone and come up with skits (not very funny in Tylda's case). This earns them points. The pranksters can buy a voodoo doll from the souvenir seller. Seiji has chosen his target, and she doesn't seem to be that happy... Fortunately, this whole festival is just a big joke: you won't make any enemies tonight.
The pranksters play pranks and the jokers play jokes. The points climb and the two teams are tied: there is not much time left to win. Because yes, alas, this festival lasts really too little time for my taste, where the festival of love is long while we go around in circles... But we'll talk about that in the review! In the meantime, the sims are working hard to win.
The fireworks that will follow will be the color of the winning team! Hopefully Seiji won't catch fire together with his toy bought a few moments ago. It would be really a huge joke, and I am afraid that it would not please me or my simself...
Victory for the jokers! Fortunately, no animosity between the two camps. Tylda is again in joy: we want to understand why! The pranksters are not bad losers and a long kiss between our tester and her husband follows. But you won't have any pictures: I let you imagine it in front of the flames which shine in the black sky...
It was a great festival once again. Quickly, we only have the last festival left: the spices! See you there?
I waited a few days to get the notification that would invite me to the new festival. So I took the opportunity to improve the life of my two lovers: I hung the paintings on the walls and created a little room... Why, you might ask? To make our two little babies comfortable!
Yes, I said two: a few days before the spice festival, my simself gave birth to two beautiful little ones: Ailla and Brynn.
The Spice Festival
The spice festival arrived Friday at 5pm! Just down the block, as I recall: my sims live in a tiny apartment in the spice district. And this time, I didn't just send Tylda and Seiji: the two little babies, who have grown up nicely, joined their parents for the last festival of this article.
She's used to it by now: as soon as she arrives, I send my simself to buy a snowball but also several spices, like wasabi, saffron and curry. And with her unstoppable charm, she even got a discount! On his side, Seiji bought the most important thing for him: a dish of spicy merguez!
The spiciest dish contest has been tested by the whole family! Unlike the hot dog eating contest in sims 3 Season, your sims don't have to come to the front of the table and finish the dish as quickly as possible, but rather help themselves, sit down with their friends and finish the dish. All those who succeed are winners: of course, the kids didn't make it, nor did Seiji, the big eater: it's our Tylda, the champion. Well done Tylda!
Long live the redheads! In any case, Tylda was certainly not expecting to drink bubbles... with wasabi! She may have won the contest, but her taste buds are starting to burn severely. However, nothing stops her and she runs to the food trays. You know, I, the player, love all-you-can-eat buffets: why not my simsette? Let's wish her a good appetite.
Seiji doesn't really know anything about gardening but he goes to harvest the fruits and vegetables available on the ground. But no! They are not spices. It's really a pity I think. I can already imagine him setting up his plants in the apartment - much to his wife's displeasure - and realizing that they are strawberries... poor Seiji.

I was very excited about this new addition to the Sims 4 collection, and I deliberately didn't find out too much about it to keep it a surprise. Unfortunately, I was rather disappointed... I didn't go all the way with my discoveries and stopped playing as soon as a number of lags stopped me wanting to play.
However, I inherited this item for this week, and it was a very nice surprise! The festivals brought me everything I was looking for on this add-on and I'm glad I was able to share them with you today.
First things first: The geek convention. I confess, it wasn't my favorite part of the event. I didn't get to see all the interactions. But this first experience awakened my curiosity and my desire to play! To go into the details of this analysis, I liked the way all our sims were brought together for the same passion. I liked that they could all interact and play together, something that was - I found - not very well developed in Vivre Ensemble, despite the groups. Oh, and the space travel! I thought it was a wonderful idea to be able to go into space in this way, without having to know anything about rocketry. I found this festival far, far too short.
Festival of love. Biggest disappointment in my eyes. I'm a very romantic person by nature, I love to romanticize my stories and I almost only read stories like that. So the idea of being able to meet other sims with the same intentions as ours was something I really wanted to see. Maybe it's my fault, maybe it's because I didn't want to read too much about this new add-on and therefore expected too much. The idea of the Sakura tea is obviously great, same for the Love Guru. For the latter, I said IDEA. Because his remarks are flat, because it's an interaction that lasted long enough just for a random phrase. I thought this guru was going to build on the already existing relationships of our sims. But here, I admit, it was really nothing. And other than that, nothing to do! I know that the interest of this festival was to build relationships : see by yourself, Tylda got married that day. But no activity allows us to gather our sims! And what does painting and gardening do in it? I would have liked new games, new activities. In short, festival way too long for what it is. It's not a big, big gripe either, far from it: the "on a whim" marriage made me laugh and it paid off.
The flea market! It's not a festival, but it's what I found the most fun. Yes, I did say fun! The last time I participated in this kind of event in a game was in Animal Crossing, when I was a kid. It was a special day that I was looking forward to. There I found a pretty simple, colorful place with lots of people, original furniture that I would never have thought to buy in the shopping mode. And the fact that you can haggle and sell your collections and paintings is for me the best. In short, I plan to go back every Sunday... In every game I play! I found the length of the event to be perfect.
The comedy festival: this is my favorite festival! I really wasn't expecting it, because in my head, I was going to enjoy the Geek Convention and the Love Festival the most. This was not the case. The idea of the two camps and the contest is well developed, and while I would have really liked to discover some brand new interactions on both skills (there are some, but I would have liked some new games, instead of rehashing the voodoo doll which is a bit useless for incompetent sims). But it didn't really bother me, because I was into the competition! It was a bit complicated for me because of my two sims on opposite sides, so I wasn't able to take full advantage of all the possibilities, I was only able to see and let you see some of the things to do on both sides. The fireworks to announce the winner, that's great. Otherwise, I have a big gripe about the time: Festival way too short! Maybe it's also because I really enjoyed myself and would have liked to continue... You get the idea: Humor put me in a good mood.
Let's finish with the spice festival. Here again, I was a little disappointed. I was surprised when I discovered the names of the festivals, because I must say that I rushed into my game without inquiring for this article. For sure, when you have a spice district, you can expect things to do in that place. I got a little bored and went home before the end of the festival so quickly. Eating, buying spices, and what else? As with the previous festivals, I would have liked to have other possibilities. And the fact of being able to harvest plants which have nothing to do with spices... I admit I was surprised when I discovered the strawberries! Knowing that I most certainly missed some things, but for a first impression, I can say that I was a little disgusted. Only a little bit, because I wasn't expecting something grand like with the Love one. But I have a question: why a spice festival, certainly very exotic, and not an arts festival for the artists' district and another one dedicated to fashion for the district with this name?
I had fun all afternoon with these festivals! Despite my small disappointments expressed above, I think this idea of festivals is great. It's a big plus for this add-on that disappointed me at first: I'm satisfied!
