The Sims 4 system requirements are changing

Just hours before the free release of The Sims 4, the game's system requirements are changing. The minimum requirements to continue playing have increased, setting aside versions of Windows prior to Windows 10. The processor requirements are also more important with a processor speed of at least 3.3Ghz compared to 2.0 before. The configuration on mac remains unchanged.

Here is a small comparison:

 

Minimum configuration for Windows

  • OPERATING SYSTEM : 64 bits required. Windows 7 (SP1), Windows 8, Windows 8.1 or Windows 10
  • PROCESSIVE: 1.8 GHz Intel Core 4 Duo, AMD Athlon 64 Dual-Core 4000+ or equivalent (For computers using integrated graphics chipsets, the game requires at least 2.0 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 2.0 GHz AMD Turion 64 X2 TL-62 or equivalent) 3.3 GHz Intel Core i3-3220 (2 cores, 4 threads), AMD Ryzen 3 1200 3.1 GHz (4 cores) or equivalent
  • RAM: at least 4 GB of RAM
  • Disk Drive : DVD-ROM drive required for installation only
  • Hard disk : at least 15 GB 25 GB of available space with at least 1 GB of additional space for custom content and saved games
  • Video: 128 MB of video RAM and support for Pixel Shader 3.0. Compatible graphics cards: NVIDIA GeForce 6600 or higher, ATI Radeon X1300 or higher, Intel GMA X4500 or higher
  • DirectX: DirectX compatible 9.0, 10 and 11
  • Peripherals : keyboard and mouse
  • Internet : Internet connection required for product activation

Recommended configuration for Windows

  • Operating system : Windows 7/8/8.1/10 (64 bits)
  • Processor (AMD): Intel Core i5 or faster, AMD Athlon X4
  • Graphics card: 1 GB of video RAM, NVIDIA GTX 650, AMD Radeon HD 7750, or higher
  • Brief: 4 GB 8 GB of RAM
  • Hard disk : 18 GB 50 GB of hard drive space

    I ask again: will we be able to play or not with a 2.5 GB processor, because many people can't afford to buy a 1000 euro computer and why is it suddenly changing? It would be a big blow to not be able to play anymore.
