After releasing the plague into your savegame, infected sims will quickly and easily spread the disease to poor unsuspecting sims.
Maybe they will be lucky and one of the interesting remedies des docteurs de la peste fonctionnera pour eux… mais il est plus probable qu’ils mourront d’une mort lente et inconfortable !
- Choose in which household/neighborhood the disease occurs.
- Start with a single infected sim or unleash the disease on an entire neighborhood.
- Natural/progressive infection of other sims
- Healthy sims are more likely to avoid infections, while sick and elderly sims are more likely to catch them.
- The sims present a series of horrible symptoms
- Call the plague doctor, who can provide "cures" and remedies.
- All have a small chance of curing the plague.
- If the Sims are unlucky and not cured, they will die within a week of initial exposure!
1.3 New content
- Vampires can now catch the plague when they drink water from an infected victim! This is the only way they can catch the plague, they are immune to the normal spread.
- Pregnant sims also die from the plague. They will leave a single tombstone and their pregnancy will end.
- Sims children are now also able to die from the plague. (Note - since the death animation is on an adult platform, there is some stretching around the child's legs during the animation).
New corrections
- Children will no longer perform the headache interaction that used to make them stretch completely on the adult rig.
- I moved the UV space of the bubbles so that there would be less conflict with the other textures. If your character has hair or tattoos that overlap this texture space, it will color the bubbles, but the space I used is not usually used for UV of CAS objects.
