New gameplay for kids in Brighter Futures

Learn to ride a bike

To get you started, start by purchasing one of the new Buy Mode bikes. These are special children's models, slightly smaller than the adult models.

By launching the interaction from a child, you can ask an adult to teach him or her, or directly by clicking with an adult. Your Sim picks up his best helmet and starts pedaling. For some reason, my Sim started cycling in the kitchen, and of course the father didn't know how to give advice indoors... Anyway, a second attempt outdoors and your Sim will be riding and improving his Motor Skills.

Tree houses in the trees

The dream of every child, to have a cabin hidden in the treetops! And the Sims have done it in a big way! Start by purchasing a tree house base in the Buy Kids Activity Mode.

Once built, your Sims can enjoy it! You can play and sleep in the shelter, observe nature, or play on the terrace.

And, as promised, you can furnish the treehouse, or more precisely its terrace, yourself, using items from the purchase mode. Search for "treehouse compatible" to find compatible items. Objects can be placed in fairly specific locations. There's not much, but there's variety. The virtual console, decorations, activities...
