Memories with The Sims 3 Generations

Once the game is installed, a little return to the roots is necessary and I decide to open a brand new game in Sunset Valley. At first sight, nothing new under the sun, the city has not changed a quarter of an ant's calf. I hesitate between creating a new home and playing with a prefabricated family when an epiphany arrives: the Bunch.

Two adults, two teenagers and two children. Ok their house is indescribably ugly and nobody in the family is transcendentally beautiful but so be it. It's decided, the Bunch will be my test family.

In the first 15 minutes of the game, the new features of Generations are subtle, except for the one that will immediately jump out at you: memories.

Souvenirs

At each important and totally uninteresting step of your Sims' life, the game will ask you if you want your Sims to remember what happened (if you answer yes, the event in question will be recorded in the memory album that you can open from the Simology tab). You will also have the opportunity to share these memories on Facebook (so that people know you don't have a life of your own). In game it goes like this, "Your family just moved in, do you want to remember them?" Well yes, why not... " Your Sim has peed himself, do you want to share this memory with your contacts?" Eh... That is...no. "Judy Bunch had her first day at work, do you want to remember it?" No. "Etienne and Lisa did their homework together, it was unforgettable, do you want to share that memory?" No, but will you give me a break for five seconds? "Seraphin comes home from work with a promotion, would you like to share this memory?" Okay, how about we turn this thing off?

To deactivate the memories, it's simple: go to the game options and while you're at it, take a look at the life span of your Sims.
