Overwatch
The Overwatch mod by Nraas fixes a lot of bugs in the game or in some other mods. The main purpose of this mod is to act as a periodic cleanup system to correct errors and by removing unnecessary elements that accumulate during a game session. A menu called "NRaas\Overwatch" is added to the City Hall and on the active sim.
Nraas' Overwatch mod enhances the game by cleaning up certain automatically-generated and unnecessary elements. For example, at 3 a.m. (sims), the mod will remove abandoned vehicles from community grounds, and turn off TVs and stereos, so you don't have to use your computer's memory unnecessarily. With these actions and those listed above, the game runs more smoothly.
To set up the Overwatch mod, click on City Hall, open the Nraas menu and then Overwatch. Inside, 4 menus to be touched with care.
The "Command Console" menu contains various commands that are activated at a certain time or when a game is started. The "Immediate" and "Settings" menus allow you to immediately modify certain behaviors in The Sims 3. The options are fairly self-explanatory. For example, if you have VIP Access and you're playing in Bridgeport, you'll also have fewer cabs all over the streets by choosing "clean cabs".
Nraas Overwatch settings
- Activate all gnomes
- Enable night notifications (Enable or disable notifications on mod operation)
- Drive out all the homeless: Deletes NPCs that have no home in your party. They will be regenerated afterwards
- Turn off Hifi : Turns off all radios
- Turn off TV
- Include active terrain: Activate the Overwatch mod on your terrain (very risky)
- Logging : Reset stuck sims
- Clean elevator
- Clean concert
- Clean Genealogy: Remove unnecessary links from family trees
- Clean inventory : Delete items that are considered in the inventory when they are not anymore
- Clean laundry
- Clean skill modification : Recalculates the levels of the skills if they have ever been bugged
- Clean relationship
- Clean up situation
- Clean vehicle: Removes abandoned cars
- Clean clothes: Removes dirty laundry
- Purge heredity hairstyle
- Purify the dead: Remove graves from the mausoleum
- Recovering stray children: Sims children outside after curfew are taken home
- Recovering lost sims
- Reference to the first Reset Check
- Set alarm time
- Reset check
- Restart digital photos
- Stop pet adoption : Prevent sims from adopting pets.
- Testing cheats enabled: Activates "testingcheatsenabled" at the start of the game.
- Checking for blocking
- Auto-reset check
- Checking back in town: To check on the tourists
- View sims menu : Allows you to access the settings by clicking directly on a sim.
