First love
It's not something I'd need in my game, but I was curious to see how it might work, so I made this Mod anyway. But I'm not going to add anything more important like special dates or anything ;P
When children have a high friendship level (value 75), they find a new menu on their target called "First Love".
This is where they'll have their first new interaction:
- Admitting you have a crush (Single interaction)
If the interaction is successful, you'll have a new relationship with your crush called "First Crush".
Being close to your crush will give you a special Buff that will slowly increase the progression of the hidden relationship every 30 minutes.
In the Pie "First Love" menu, two new interactions are available:
- Number exchange (unique interaction)
- Embrace
- Visit Crush (if you have my Mod Social activities )
These two interactions allow for hidden progress in relationships.
Exchanging numbers with your Crush will also unlock two new telephone interactions:
- Call Crush
- Send a text message
These two telephone interactions will also advance the relationship.
As you progress, you'll unlock a new interaction that will be announced (you'll receive a notification):
- Monkey around
This interaction will advance your relationship with your Crush.
As you progress, you'll unlock a new interaction that will be announced (you'll receive a notification):
- Stargazing (only works for the owner of the Outdoor Retreat DLC, sorry I didn't see it while doing this).
Being in the stars with your Crush will gain you progression in your relationship.
When your hidden progress is high enough, you'll get the last unlocked interaction (you'll receive a notification):
- Asking to be a boyfriend/girlfriend
If you ask your Crush to become your boyfriend or girlfriend, your "First Crush" relationship will turn into a new relationship called "First Love" if you succeed.
With this new relationship, a new interaction will be available:
- Ask to be just friends
This interaction suppresses all the hidden progress of the relationship and the "First Love" relationship itself.
Aging into adolescence
If one of the children becomes a teenager, a hidden 7-day countdown begins.
During these 7 days, the only option available between the two Sims in the Pie "First love" menu is "Ask to be just friends".
If the two Sims reach teenage age and meet within 7 days, they'll get a hidden diffuser that adds a love track of 50 and the "Sign. Other" relationship!
If they don't reach adulthood by the end of the countdown, they'll keep the "First Love" relationship, but no special interaction will be available, and if they want to stay in a relationship when they reach adulthood, they'll have to start from scratch.
A few answers before it becomes a question ;)
There are some interactions that would have been perfectly suited here, for example
- Kissing the cheek
- Holding hands
Unfortunately, these interactions are not animated for children. So there's no interaction to add to avoid awkward stretching.

Optional addons
Hide Interactions
Addon that moves the Lot Trait to become a Lot Challenge instead, since you can only have three Lot Traits but an unlimited number of Lot Challenges.
2x Faster Relationship Progress
Makes the crush relationship progress twice as fast.
4x Faster Relationship Progress
Makes Crush Relationship Progress 4x faster
You can only install one faster progress addon!
