In our latest update, we've added something that everyone (designers, builders, and storytellers) will love - we can't wait to see how you express your creativity with the fun content that's coming soon.
Photo Mode
Surprise: you read that right! It was one of the most requested features: a screen capture feature called "Photo Mode" has arrived. Now you can take photos of your new home decor or parties you're hosting, and even set the mood with a day/night cycle setting.
To take advantage of this long-awaited camera mode, simply open the "Build/Purchase" mode in a place where this mode is accessible to access the Photo tool. A new button will be visible at the bottom left of the Build/Purchase screen; it will allow you to completely clear the UI menu! Frame your photo and press the Screenshot function on your own phone to capture your Sims' special moments. This will save the image to your phone's gallery so you can share it anytime on social media! Show your photos to SimGurus using the hashtag #TheSimsMobile!
Third Floor Construction Mode
Big houses for big dreams! Since the "Higher" update earlier this year, you've enjoyed the luxury of expanding your Sim's homes up to 2 stories; now we're adding a third floor to make your multi-story villas even higher!
The Third Floor Construction mode is available at level 30 and costs 200,000 simflouz. You must first unlock access to the first and second floors. Go to the Construction/Purchase menu while in the house you want to renovate, and find access to the third floor in the Floor Construction menu.
The Multiplayer feature is permanent in the base game and is available to all players who have completed the tutorials and reached level 4. If you have reached level 4, you can unlock the Multiplayer feature for SimCash (premium currency) if you want to save time. But for new players, access to the second floor construction is unlocked at level 14, and access to the second floor construction at level 25 without spending Premium Currency.
Create a games and recreation room
Did you participate in our player survey a few weeks ago? The results are in! You told us you wanted to see more arcade and hobby items in our upcoming updates, so we've created a "Dream Garage" themed Sweet Treats Challenge event!
Players will be able to turn a basic garage into a personal den with various rewards including everything from tools to decorative items. Even though there are no cars in The Sims Mobile at the moment, that doesn't mean that's the only use for a garage!
Think about it: you don't need the same items for a personal den as you do for a car shop. It's easy to fall into traditional or common garage uses, so The Sims Mobile has made the possibilities endless!
For example, builders and stylists will love thinking about what to do with the space and how the theme will influence time spent in the garage: they can create a library, entertainment room, playroom and more!
Douces douceurs " Garage de rêve " challenge
Complete the Sweet Treats "Dream Garage" challenge for a chance to win hobby room decorations such as a foosball table, pear chair, storage unit, ottoman, tools hanging on the wall, bucket with cleaning supplies, dungarees, furniture and countertops, and a top prize: a brand new double garage door!
