SimGuruFrost avait annoncé la semaine dernière un point sur ce qui allait arriver pour Les Sims 4 afin de rassurer les joueurs un peu perdus par le peu de communication ces dernières semaines.
L’article vient d’être posté sur le site officiel et nous apprend qu’une extension, un kit d’objet (celui sur les travaux manuels) et un pack de jeu sortiront dans les 6 prochains mois, vraisemblablement dans cet ordre. Aucun détail sur le contenu de ces jeux ni de dates plus précises sur leur sortie. Sont également prévus des nouveautés pour tous les joueurs dans une mise à jour à venir cet été ainsi que des « moyens amusants de jouer ensemble » en précisant bien qu’il ne s’agit pas d’un mode multijoueur.
Hi everyone! This is SimGuruDruke, reporting from the guest room in my house that has become my home office. Which is actually not a problem, since I'm not expecting any guests right now. The changes over the past few weeks have been challenging for all of us, and I want to take a moment to share some updates on The Sims™ 4 with you.
First of all, for those of you wondering, the entire team switched to telecommuting the week of March 16th. It's been a big change, but we're all so excited about the future content we're working on that we've adapted quickly and are moving forward! Things are moving a little slower than usual with all of our kids and pets clamoring for attention all day, but as always, we're here to make sure The Sims 4 works every time you want to play. With that in mind, I thought I'd give you a little preview of the content to come in the next six months.
Right now we are working hard on the new community item kit. I know, of course we are... I can't tell you the name of it, because the voting on it hasn't been done yet, but I saw the list of options last week, and I have no idea what title you're going to choose. I can't wait to find out. This item kit is really coming together, and it has been fantastic to have all of your input in shaping it.
In addition to the item set, we are also working hard on our next expansion pack. I really love the theme that the team has chosen; and I think it's going to be a surprise for many of you. The team is also working on some new surprise additions that we plan to bring to the game over the summer. They're not huge changes, but they're really great, and I think you're going to have a lot of fun with them. Another group on our team is currently focusing on our next game pack. This pack is a big first for us, and we're very excited to share it with you later this year.
Finally, we've been working on some fun ways to play together while at home. No, we're not doing a multiplayer mode. We want to help the players in our community stay connected to each other (and to us!) in this time of social distancing. As part of that, we at SimGurus want to be able to share more with you. We're not ready to reveal all the details yet, but I'm excited about these initiatives, about which you'll have more information soon.
