Groups are not the only gameplay addition of this add on, there are also a lot of little things that will improve the way we play. I propose you to have a look at what I could observe last Wednesday.
As soon as you arrive in CAS, you will notice a lot of additions in terms of clothes and hairstyles but also a new character trait "Dancing Machine"; this one, as its name indicates, will make you progress faster in dancing. There is also a new aspiration "Band Leader" for sims who love being part of bands. To complete the associated objectives, you will need to become the leader of the best band in town.
In the city, we notice some pre-existing families that have nice characteristics and are already members of groups. There is, for example, the "party gang" whose club loves to drink, to flirt but also to dance... A vast program.
By switching to life mode and there by clicking on the sims, surprise! In the middle of the usual outfit changes appears the option "get naked". And yes, now we can get naked anywhere and anytime: at home, in the park (beware of children), in the middle of ruins ... Finally everywhere.
I started with a little trip to the pool, to test the new diving board which allows to realize various jumps. Be careful not to lose your clothes, by making an uncontrolled jump. I then tried the bonfire available at various places in the new city. If we want to party, we can also take the brand new portable bar with us, and acquire a mixer. From it we can hire staff, set up, create a custom mix or request a musical genre. Note that there is a new kind of party, in the social events: dance party.
Another cool new place: the café. You can order food and drinks there, on the spot but also to take away. As a novelty, you can find all kinds of coffee, but also chocolate bread, croissants and other pastries.
There are also 4 new group games: darts, foosball, a large video arcade game and a small wooden board game like Mikado that can also be used by children.
Finally 2 items, which made the joy of the testers. A very nice little bush to pee in, but also to take a nap and of course ... snap; and a closet to play, try on outfits in group and again, snap.
