Testing the Fairy Mod on The Sims 4

Hi everyone, today we're back together for a new This week I've discovered the Fairy mod for you! So, what does it have in store for us? Is it a copy-paste of the fairies in The Sims 3? Or is it something completely new? Let's find out together! Let's get started!

So here's my simette, she volunteered for this week (because we're against slavery, m'kay?) and for the occasion, she's given herself a little fairy-tale look, to stay in the spirit! So we start by turning her into a fairy! To do so, I go and get the magic tree in the purchase mode, in the trees category, and place it on my plot!

Then click on the nanotree and two interactions appear: Contemplate the tree and Plead the fairies. Of course, to transform, you choose the second option! And there's a nice little animation.

Yippee! I've got my pretty little wings! And what's more, I can personalize them - well, just change their color, but it's nice enough! And a new tab is available when you click on our sim!

Two new interactions are now available! "I can fly" will launch a little animation in which our sim will start flying on the spot! In fact, instead of walking, he now flies naturally! And little sequins follow him everywhere!

And you can now cast auras! Just like in The Sims 3, if I remember correctly. There's a pretty cool interaction when you cast them, by the way. And our sim feels a bit dizzy doing it, since it consumes all his magic!

Your fairy will need to obtain the Fairy Grimoire from the guardian. This book is very similar to the spellcaster's book menu.

There are new spells to learn for your fairy and again, I'm not going to say too much here, just that the duplication spell led me to create as many copies of my Sims as I could for no good reason. I had so much fun watching them running around and showering in the rain because they all had erratic features. As your fairy's experience increases, you'll be able to click on the statue again and choose an advantage and do more spells.

Looking for mods to enhance your Sims 4 game? We've tested a few that might also interest you:  A mod by Le Poulet: "Using common areas as residential lots"

Your fairy will also be able to draw powers from different sources that influence the success rate, strength, result and overall effect of certain spells and the ease or speed of learning them, as well as unlocking interactions not available to other sims. Elements from which you can draw energy include technology, sun, moon, fire and more. It took me a few games before I realized this, and my favorite at this stage is the nature fairy, as it makes gardening and herbalism much easier.

This mod is called Fairies vs Witches (fairies vs. witches), so your Sim can also become a witch, but I've chosen to focus solely on fairies, since we already have witches. However, I can say that this mod makes me want to play with witches again.

Overall, this mod is really well thought out and put together. From the descriptions in the pop-ups to the smooth animations, this mod pack is everything I wanted. SpinningPlumbob has done an amazing job with this mod and I highly recommend ALL his mods.
